what it does
- Once a round opens (12:42 Vienna) it picks a random moment between 12:45 and 14:00. If your browser was closed then, it guesses as soon as the browser starts.
- It asks this server which number to play, then submits it on iguesslow.com from your own browser, using the login you already have there. Your iguesslow session never leaves your browser.
- You hear nothing from it unless something needs you, for example when you are logged out of iguesslow. It then retries on its own every 20 to 40 minutes.
- A guess on iguesslow is final. If you already guessed that day yourself, it leaves yours alone.
what the server knows
- Your 42 login and your coalition, read once when you sign in.
- The number it chose for you each day, and whether it went through. The server operator can see these numbers before the round closes.
- It never receives your 42 password or your iguesslow login. The 42 access token is thrown away right after the lookup.
